What would it mean to befriend a tree? How might spending time with a tree make us feel connected to the place we live in a different way? Much of Portland's beauty lives in its 20,000 trees.

 

Join me to explore this beauty through writing. We'll meet in Deering Oaks Park on June 23rd for a morning of tree-related writing exercises, followed by a picnic lunch.
